Olive trees are a spectacular wood that ages beautifully.  Olive trees can live for hundreds of years but eventually stop producing fruit.  This is when they are regarded as ancient.

When they are ancient the wood thickens,  becomes harder, and takes on a unique shape and colour.  This is how we know that no two items are the same.

This change also makes them perfect to use in the kitchen. They have proven antibacterial properties that make them perfect for using in the kitchen and far more hygienic that using plastic.

With a little care, ancient olive wood products will last a lifetime and through recycling the trees in this way, it creates space for new olive trees to begin their own journey.
